Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: Sep 01, 2026

Welcome to the website of Afnan Al-Ghadhoori Law Firm for Advocacy and Legal Consultations (the “Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These terms of service and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website, including any request submitted through the website to seek a legal consultation.

By accessing or using this website or by submitting a consultation request, you agree that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. You may not agree to these Terms if you do not accept all of them.

1.  Purpose and use of the website

The purpose of this website is to provide general information about the Firm, its legal services and the means of contacting the Firm or requesting a consultation.

You agree to use the website for lawful and legitimate purposes only and in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws and regulations.

You may not:

  • Give false, misleading, incomplete, or inaccurate information
  • Use the website for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
  • Interfere with, damage, disable, or gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems
  • Use the website in a manner that may cause harm to the Firm, its personnel, clients, or any third party

The Firm reserves the right to restrict or terminate access to the website in the event it deems it necessary or appropriate.

2.  Consultation requests and appointment confirmation

A submission of a consultation request through the website constitutes a request for an appointment only and not an acceptance of a legal matter or a commitment by the Firm to provide legal services.

All consultation requests are subject to the Firm’s availability.

The Firm reserves the right, at its discretion and where necessary, to accept, decline, reschedule, postpone, or cancel a consultation request or appointment.

An appointment will only be considered confirmed when the Firm explicitly confirms it through an appropriate communication channel.

3.  Consultation fees and legal fees

A submission of a consultation request through the website is free of charge, unless expressly stated otherwise.

The submission or confirmation of a consultation appointment does not constitute an agreement to provide ongoing legal services.

Any legal fees, professional charges, scope of services, payment terms, and applicable conditions will be separately discussed and agreed upon by the Firm and the client, where applicable.

No legal fees are to be considered accepted or agreed solely by submitting a consultation request through the website.

4.  No attorney-client relationship

Accessing or using the website, submitting a consultation request, sending an inquiry, communicating with the Firm, or receiving a response from the Firm does not, by virtue of its own, establish an attorney-client relationship, legal representation relationship, or any other professional engagement.

No such relationship will arise unless and until the Firm has explicitly accepted the engagement and applicable scope of services and fees have been agreed, where applicable.

Until such engagement has been explicitly accepted, you should not consider any communication that you receive through the website as confirmation that the Firm has accepted your case or agreed to represent you.

5.  General information and no legal advice

The information and materials published on this website are provided for general informational and introduction purposes only.

Nothing on the website constitutes legal advice or legal opinion, recommendation, or professional advice concerning any particular legal matter or individual circumstances.

Legal matters are fact-specific and may depend on applicable laws, regulations, procedures, documents, and other circumstances. Information published on the website should therefore not be relied upon as a substitute for obtaining legal advice from a qualified lawyer.

If you need advice regarding a specific matter, you should request a consultation and discuss your circumstances directly with the Firm.

6.  Submission of information and documents

When submitting information through the website, you should ensure that the information provided is accurate and, to the extent possible, complete.

For your protection, you are strongly advised not to submit highly sensitive, privileged, confidential, or otherwise critical documents or information through website forms or other unsecured electronic channels, unless the Firm has explicitly instructed you to do so.

The submission of information or documents does not constitute acceptance of a legal matter, or confirmation that the Firm has agreed to review, act, or represent you in relation to that matter.

7.  Confidentiality

The Firm respects the confidentiality of information received in the course of its professional activities and handles information in accordance with applicable professional obligations and laws.

However, communications submitted through a website or electronic form should not be assumed to be protected by attorney-client privilege or to create an attorney-client relationship simply because they are submitted to the Firm.

Users should therefore be cautious when providing sensitive information before a formal professional relationship has been established.

8.  Appointment cancellation and rescheduling

A client may request to cancel or reschedule a consultation by contacting the Firm using the contact details provided on the website.

Where reasonably possible, cancellation or rescheduling requests should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

The Firm will strive to make the necessary efforts to accommodate any changes, subject to availability.

9.  Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, all content available on this website including text, written materials, graphics, logos, designs, photographs, icons, the layout, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to the Firm and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No part of the website may be reproduced, copied, distributed, modified, republished, transmitted, displayed, or used in a commercial manner without the Firm’s prior written authorization, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.

10. Third-party websites and services

The website may contain links or references to third-party websites, platforms, or services for the convenience or informational purpose.

The Firm does not control or be responsible for the content, availability, security, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party website or service.

Access to any third-party website is by the user’s own discretion and at their own risk.

11. Website availability and accuracy

The Firm endeavors to ensure that the information provided on the website is accurate and up-to-date. However, the Firm does not warrant that all information will always be complete, current, error-free, or suitable for every particular purpose.

The Firm may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website or its content at any time.

12. Limitation of reliance

To the extent permitted by applicable law, information provided through this website should not be relied upon solely as the basis for making legal, financial, commercial, or other decisions.

Users should obtain appropriate professional advice based on the specific facts and circumstances of their matter.

13. Amendments to these terms

The Firm reserves the right to amend, update or replace these Terms from time to time.

Any updated version will be published on this website and will become effective from publication, unless otherwise stated.

Your continued use of the website after publication of amended Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Free consultation booking

Requests to book a consultation through the website are free of charge, unless expressly stated otherwise.

No payment is required to submit or request confirmation of an appointment through the website.

Consequently, as no payment is collected for the consultation booking itself, there is no refund applicable to a free consultation booking.

Submitting a consultation request does not constitute payment for legal services and does not create any obligation for the Firm to accept or take on the client’s legal matters

15. Appointment confirmation

A consultation request submitted through the website is a request only and is subject to the Firm’s availability and confirmation.

An appointment is confirmed only after the Firm explicitly confirms the appointment, through an appropriate communication channel.

The Firm reserves the right, where reasonably necessary, to reschedule, postpone, or cancel an appointment.

16. Cancellation and rescheduling

Clients who wish to cancel or reschedule a confirmed consultation should contact the Firm using the contact details provided on the website.

Where reasonably possible, clients are requested to provide at least 24 hours’ notice of any cancellation or rescheduling request.

The Firm will strive to make necessary efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests, subject to availability.

17. Legal fees for separate legal services

Any legal fees agreed upon between the Firm and a client for legal services are separate from the free consultation booking process.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, such fees are not collected as part of the consultation booking process through the website.

Where legal services are subsequently engaged, the applicable fees, scope of services, payment terms, cancellation provisions, and any relevant refund arrangements will be governed by the separate agreement between the Firm and the client.

In the event of any refund request relating to separately contracted legal services, the applicable terms of the relevant engagement or fee agreement shall apply.

18. No automatic right to a refund

A consultation booking through the website does not involve a payment and therefore does not give rise to a refund claim in respect to the booking itself.

Any payment made separately for legal services will be subject to the respective agreed terms between the Firm and the client and applicable law.

19. No acceptance of a legal matter

The confirmation of a consultation appointment does not constitute acceptance of a client’s case, an undertaking to provide legal services, or establishes an attorney-client or legal representation relationship.

Any professional relationship will arise only after the Firm explicitly accepts the engagement and, where applicable, the parties agree upon the scope of services and applicable fees.

20. Changes to our conditions

The Firm reserves the right to amend or update our terms and conditions from time to time.

Any amendment will become effective upon publication on the website unless otherwise stated.

Clients are encouraged to review the current version of this Policy before submitting a consultation request or engaging the Firm for legal services.

20. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable in the State of Kuwait, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the State of Kuwait, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
